Jonas Brothers invade Puerto Rico
The smash hit U.S. pop band The Jonas Brothers will be visiting Puerto Rico as part of their Live inConcert World Tour 2010.
Siblings Kevin (guitar, bass and chorus), Joe (lead singer, guitar) and Nick (lead vocals,piano and drums) have reached superstar status thanks to their program on the Disney Channel. The youths have more than 1.2 million friends on Facebook, more than 1.3 million on Myspace and over 1.3. million in Say Now. They’re the #1 musical group on YouTube.
The band is known for their four hit albums: “It’s About Time,” “Jonas Brothers,” “A Little Bit Longer” and “Lines, Vines and Trying Times,” selling over 8 million records ( 36 titles going gold and platinum) and their headlining tours alongside the likes of Backstreet Boys, Jesse McCarthy, Kerry Clarkson, The Veronicas, and Miley Cyrus, among others.
The youths were nominated for a Grammy and have won several awards across the world such as the American Music Award and multiple Kids’ Choice and Teen Choice awards.
The famous trio is finally visiting Puerto Rico, playing all their classic hits as well as songs from their feature-length films Camp Rock 1 and 2.
Actress and singer Demi Lovato, who has recorded three platinum albums, will also be playing an hour long set with the boys.
As if that wasn’t enough, the stars of Camp Rock 2 will be joining the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato on stage, playing songs from their Disney Movie: Camp Rock 2, The Final Jam, airing Sept. 3 on the Disney Channel.
All the stars will rock out Oct. 15 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. The event is produced by José Dueño.
